How To Convert Mini VHS To DVD


Companies introduced mini VHS tapes so that the customers could have a smaller and lighter cam. If you want to convert mini VHS to DVD, you need to get a digital VHS convertor. Follow the given instructions to do the conversion.
Insert the mini VHS tape into your VHS tape adapter. Now, insert the VHS tape adapter into your VHS player. Next, connect one end of the S-Video cord to the S-Video out of the VHS player. Take another end of the cable and connect it to the S-Video out of your VHS converter.
Connect the red & white connections of your stereo audio/video cable to the red & white outputs of the VHS player. Do the same with the VHS digital converter. Connect the USB cord attached to your VHS converter to your computer USB port.
Launch your VHS converter software. Press “Play” on your VHS player and press “Record” on your VHS converter app. When the recording completes, press the “Stop” button on your VHS converter app. Remove the VHS adapter from your VHS player. Similarly, eject your mini VHS cassette from your VHS adapter and keep it in your shelf again. Your next move is to disconnect all the cables from your VHS player. In the same way, unplug cables from your VHS converter and the PC USB port.

On your VHS converter, you should press the “Save” button. Write the name of the digital video file you are going to create from your mini VHS cassette in the “Name” section of the window that pop up. Now, you have to click on the “Save” button in order to save the file onto your PC hard drive. Close the digital video app once you have save the digital video file.

Go online, search for a DVD burning app and install it onto your computer. A host of DVD burning software is available on the Internet. You can find one that is popular and meets your needs. After a few minutes research, you will find a good app.
Once you installed the app on your computer, launch it and select “DVD video” from its “Format” tab. These tab will be available on the home screen of the app. Here you will need to name the file. To do this, you have to enter the desired name in the “Name” section at the head of the app main screen.

Drag the file you had recorded from your mini VHS cassette into the home screen of your DVD burning app. Click on “Yes” if you see a window that asks you to convert that digital file into the DVD-supported video format.

Insert a newly bought blank DVD into your DVD writer. Press the eject button again to close the disk tray. Your final move is to click on the “Burn” button available on your DVD burning app home screen. Wait for a few minutes so that the burner could burn the video files onto the DVD. Press the eject button again in order to take out the DVD.
